Social Economy

The SDEVM’s financial support to the social economy is as follows:

* A maximum grant of $25 000. This program is designed to support the start-up or expansion of community-oriented companies (cooperatives or non-profit organizations) that are socially profitable and financially viable and that will be located within the SDEVM’s territory.

* Skills access: A maximum grant of $5000 to prepare a business plan or to conduct a feasibility study for a business serving the social economy. The study shall be carried out by a third party, according to the goals established in an agreement between the applicant and the SDEVM (CLD).
